A Christian named Ananias heals Paul from his blindness and this furher inspires Paul to preach. But what is he going to preach? He has never met or listened to Jesus Christ himself. He has not yet spent any time with Christ's Apostles and after spending some time in contemplation in the desert he comes back and starts preaching. But what is he preaching? He has no training in the way at this point. See, a lot of people dont realize Paul never met Jesus. He converted to Christianity four years after Christs crucifixion. So, he never really had the benefit of studying with the inner circle of Christians before he began to preach his understanding of Christianity and I want to make sure you understand that because his thinking was different than those of the Apostles, but you wouldn't know that unless you took the time to do the research. It's all explained in Christ Enlightened, The Lost Teachings of Jesus Unveiled. Steven S..

Having a dog at home waiting for you to get back from work is a great thing that a lot of people cherish. But things are not as easy as they seem to be. Once you have a dog you also become a dog problem owner. Crazy barking, biting people, chewing on shoes or slippers are just a few problems that you will have to bare if having a dog in the house. Until you get your dog to learn some discipline and manners you might not enjoy 100% the time spent with your beloved pet. Dogs can cause all sorts of problems from biting, barking and whining when there is no need for these doggy manifestations. A lot of people have complained that they have been embarrassed by their dog's behavior and they need to do something about their dog's lack of manners. Trying to solve these problems on your own is not a good idea and will not lead to a satisfactory result for sure. Another solution would be hiring a personal dog trainer, but this can be quite expensive and not all of the dog owners agree with the rough methods trainers apply on the dogs. A solution is now offered by the people working at DogBuyersGuide. After years of studying dog behaviors and dog needs they have come up with a book that helps dog owners understand why their dogs act in certain ways. This book also gives reasonable solutions for teaching the dog on how to behave and stop embarrassing the owner in the society. DogBuyersGuide will help the dog owners improve their teaching techniques, learn a lot of tricks on how to discipline their dogs and still remain friends with their pets after completing a set of dog behavior lessons. After reading the book DogBuyersGuyde wants to share with all the dog owners, you can forget about chewed slippers, the damage in your neighbor's garden, the stress caused by midnight barking, bites on the leg of your boss and many other troubles that a dog can bring in one man's life. Saving a lot of money by choosing to teach your dog on your own on how to behave and not hiring an expensive dog trainer, spending more time with your pet and getting rid of all the embarrassment your dog could bring you are only a few advantages that come by just reading the book DogBuyersGuide has brought for you! (LYNN MONTY, Free Press) Vermont schools are required to offer outsourced education on abuse prevention and bullying to supplement classroom lessons. Broaching sensitive subjects as required curriculum can be the bane of a teacher's semester. Varying levels of student discomfort can also add to a botched attempt to educate, but one way schools have been successful, thirty years running, is through Puppets in Education. What was once solely Kids on the Block Vermont, an affiliate of the larger national organization of the same name, has grown to be called "Puppets in Education," parent of Kids on the Block Vermont, and Friend 2 Friend Programs Vermont. These programs educate teachers, parents, and children on safety, health, and how to appreciate individual differences, through the use of life sized puppets who model leadership, and problem solving skills, while demonstrating respect, compassion and inclusion. Puppets in Education operations director, Sarah Vogelsang Card said the puppets serve as conversation starters. "In our abuse prevention program we are giving a safe space to open up and disclose" she said. "Children respond to the puppets like their peers. It's been one of our most powerful programs." Puppets in Education executive director Deb Lyons has been with the program for 25 years. The hundred schools her staff and volunteers frequent annually have diminished to half. As a result, there have been program changes, and shortened availability, she said. "For us to continue, we need to find funding," Lyons said. Their bullies and school safety program was in place before the harassment prevention legislature passed, similar to the abuse prevention act before it, Lyons said. "It's mandated. Schools don't have any funding from the legislature, but they are required to meet certain criteria to make sure children are getting education around these issues." About 65 percent of Puppets in Education programming was offered for free, in the past. Today this is not possible, Lyons said. "We have to cover a full day of expenses. We have lost so much of our grant funding because foundations have shifted their focus, and are inundated with so many other requests from non profits." Lyons is forced to charge schools, but she is also helping them find grants, make community partnerships, and gain PTO support. "These economic times have been pretty devastating for us. So far, we have managed to survive and innovate, but we do need to find support for this important programming." What Puppets in Education offers is significant because it causes a shift a cultural behavior, Vogelsang Card said. "The puppets demonstrate that kids have the power to change school culture," she said. "We encourage children to write to us to the puppets. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes. What we do works. A lot of schools have us come back a few times a year, and year after year." Puppets in Education has been in about 85 percent of Vermont schools, Lyons said. Her goal is to ultimately present in all 251 towns. Aside from bullying, and abuse, other programs offered address topics like autism, depression, ADHD, and body image. Every guy should own these 4 pairs of shoes: 1) A pair of comfortable exercise shoes. Typically, you only wear these when exercising. 2) A pair of casual sneakers, converse are a popular choice for this. Stick with a color like black, blue, grey, or red. You're looking for versitility here. 3) A pair of black dress boots. These are wonderful, and when coupled with the right outfit, will make you look good. 4) Brown dress shoes. I suggest a cap toe or a wing tip, either is fine. Also, socks. You should own a few pairs of white socks for exercise. Otherwise, wear black or brown socks (depending on the color of the rest of your ensemble). On to pants. The right pair of pants is essential to pulling something off. When shopping for jeans, avoid baggy fits, they make you look sloppy. Likewise, avoid ultra tight jeans you might see on an urban cowboy or Jeff Foxworthy. If it tapers, its bad. You want something more in a bootcut, aka snug all the way down, with a slight flare at the end. Also avoid super light colored jeans, a dark blue with a soft wash on it always looks good. When looking for dress pants, you want a pair that sits well at your waist, not your hips. Also, it should fall just right. This means that the cuff of the leg should stop right where the sole starts on your shoes. It shouldn't bunch up around your shoe at all. Also, flat front pants look best, though single pleated pants look fine as well. Shirts: Shirts can be tricky, because they're largely a matter of personal taste. You should own many button up dress shirts that fit you well, of many colors. Start your wardrobe off with oxford blue, white, and black though. Polos are a fine choice, because of how they often look good in almost any color. Rugby stripes are your friend. You should own several white t shirts to use as undershirts, also they're good for working out in. A few pullover hooded shirts are nice too. I'm not talking about the ones with your favorite team on them though. Something that fits you well, maybe striped horizontally. For some reason, girls love thermal long sleeve henleys on guys, keep that in mind. Also own many different t shirts in different colors, with different designs and graphics. Sweaters and Jackets: In the colder months of the year, layering will help keep you warm, and make you look good. You should own a few of the nicest sweaters you can afford to buy. I personally prefer V necks over crew necks because you can wear a dress shirt better underneath it. Most sweaters look best in black, green, brown, grey, or blue. Don't let that deter you from choosing a different color if you think you can make it work. Sweater vests are actually really cool, don't let the image of a retired man wearing one scare you, me might have made that look good in his day. Beware of patterns or stripes on your sweaters, usually the plainer the better. Every man should own a dark blazer/suit jacket or two. Black, blue, and grey are the colors you're looking for here. Also, a nice "military style" jacket can look very fashionable, as is evident by their rising popularity. Outerwear: Most men probably own only one coat. I own 6. However, if I were more conservative, I could skim that down to 3. 1) A camel colored overcoat. 3/4s length. 2) A peacoat. Black, Grey, or Navy blue. 3) A tan trenchcoat. Burberry if you have the means, as they are very last word in trenchcoat. I actually don't own a camel colored overcoat, I own a charcoal grey herringbone one, but thats only because I dont wear much brown. Also, you could substitute a duffel coat with toggles for a peacoat, but I usually think those make you look like you're 6. It should go without saying that these should all fit you well. That means the cuff of the sleeve should break right at the beginning of your thumb when your arms are at your side. Also, it should come in a little at the waist. If you wear a lot of suits, its ok for your overcoat to be slightly larger than normal, to accomodate the suit jacket. Suits: I could write an entire article on suits, but I'll just give you the main points here. If you're buying your first suit or two, theres nothing wrong with going traditional. A 2 or 3 button, notched lapel jacket is never a bad choice. Your colors here are black, brown, grey, navy, or maybe khaki. Muted stripes can look good, usually in a shade darker or lighter of the original color. The cuff should stop just short of your shirts cuff, showing a bit of it. If you're feeling daring, go for a three piece suit. The vest should fit you snugly, never loose. With vests and suit jackets, always leave the bottom button unbuttoned. Its up to your own discretion whether or not to button the top button. Never more than 3 buttons. Only wear a double breasted if you're in shape, and it fits you very well. You want to look like Harrison Ford did at the end of the first Indiana Jones, not every business man from the early 90's. Don't be afraid of color. Some people look really great in certain colors. Also don't be afraid of black. It makes almost everyone look good. Try socks you wouldn't normally try, such as ones with an argyle pattern, or in a loud color. Argyle sweaters look amazing in the right colors, utilize them. I own a black pinstriped suit jacket that I wear with almost everything. If you can pull off pinstripes, I highly suggest you invest in one as well. Don't be scared of something a little out of the ordinary. I own a purple velvet suit jacket that I thought would look ridiculous. Turns out it looks smashing. If you have broad shoulders, try a European cut suit, as they have softer shoulders and make you look less blocky. Likewise, if you have weak shoulders, try an American cut suit, as they have a more angled look that will help bulk your appearance a bit. Wear fitted dress shirts, they'll make you more put together because no excess shirt will be puffing out around you waist.
