My background in South Jersey news in two Cape May County radio stations, bespeaks the uncertainty of any broadcast endeavors, State, or otherwise. Route 30 going into Atlantic City, I was going to work in the graveyard shift, passed over what I thought was an accident and it turned out it was my father dead behind the wheel and did not know it until the following morning from my greaving mother. A week later, I was laid off due to post Labor Day economic blues and had to draw unemployment. In another Cape May station where I worked as the Coordinator same diff, was thrown under the bus and my manager tried to have my unemployment denied, but failed, this in order to put food on our table and pay the bills.
